I wouldn’t even trade Brock Boeser for Lafrenier straight up… Laf has proven nothing to show that’s he’s a star, and his production has been super disappointing. Not saying he’s a bad player but this is WAY too much to give up for potential…

I still don’t think we could afford Boeser’s next contract. We’ve got too many large contracts already and would have to fill too many roster spots making a move like this really hard to fit under the cap.

I kinda like the idea of trying to get a 2023 first from a team that might just fall of a cliff next season but might be willing to go all in. Boston I almost rate as a candidate for that. Bergeron is 36-37, they dont have a great 2nd line center, Rask might retire, hell maybe a Marchand, McAvoy or Pastrnak injury away from it being a lottery pick.
