                                      Not sure we should be targeting middling 3rd liners who aren't expansion exempt. We can only protect 7 forwards and right now we have Krejci, Bergeron, Backes, Pasta, Marchand, Spooner and Nelson. To me that's 7 guys we can't afford to lose, so we couldn't really fit Ferland onto our protected list. The only way this makes sense to me would be to trade for 2 guys like Ferland because Vegas would likely take one. That way we'd still have a 3rd LW.

                                      If the price is right, maybe. Just know I think very little of Landeskog due to his declining numbers and large contract. People think it's "team friendly" but it's expensive for the awful numbers he puts up
