I don't see Gio as a fit in DC. The price seems about right for 50% retention.

I hope the Canes jump at that Soucy price. Would Keane be okay? Francis is fairly risk adverse. That Klingberg contract is a huge risk. I would be surprised to see him offer that contract.

For 8 years on Klingberg, I believe you would need to own the rights. You might want to explore a trade at the TDL to Dallas. I think that it would be a solid add by The Kraken. I’m not sure what you could offer..
