Hard pass from the Hawks. Asking price starts with a first round pick for Fleury

Can't imagine Philly's best offer for Giroux ends up being a conditional pick, a cap dump, and two fringy prospects.

how do people end up with trade valuations like this. It's not even remotely reasonable.
Not only do goalies historically not hold value, which is the start of it.
But he's not worth anything near a 1st.

Supply and Demand. He's a top five goalie and multiple playoff teams have the need. Throw in the Hawks retaining half the salary...it's a second at minimum but more likely a first. Lehner brought back a second just a few years ago

You're right, this wouldn't be close to the best offer for G

Yeah, thats probably the worst offer they'll get.

Even if you added a 1st, its a pretty ugly offer.

believe me I've seen more than enough of MAF to know he's not a top 5 goalie. We can just walk that back like a mile.
Supply and Demand means nothing here. Goalies don't hold value. On top of it, no one is giving up a 1st for a guy paying backup goalie.
That's not even remotely reasonable.
Even the poster realized that and changed it.

buddy you're just wrong here. you clearly haven't watched him play this year and i guess you'll just be surprised when you see what his return is.

oh believe me, I've seen more than enough of his play.
There will be no surprises. He's not getting a 1st.
