There's now an NHL player version called Gordle. And it is muuuuuch harder than Wordle, lemme tell you.

It's been around for a minute but yeah, it can be insanely difficult and I've more often than not gotten the player by guessing. Being restricted to 5-letter names is surprisingly hard.

Who does everyone use for their first guess? I've been using Smith lately to cover the two important consonants and a vowel.

I used Petry for some reason lol, Montreal media brainwashed me with all these Petry trade rumors.

Got it in 6 tries, after getting one letter right it didn’t take me long to figure it all out.

Most of the time, I use Oates. Three vowels, an S and another common letter.

But yeah, this game is haaaaaaaaaaaaard.

I gave up on doing it because there's way too many name possibilities and it gets frustrating but opening with Laine and Kyrou gets all 6 vowels and most of main consonnants

At least today's was fairly easy as long as you used a certain player. I think I've found a good 3-player combo to open ( depending on how the firsts tries go though, sometimes you can solve it based off of 1-2 guesses ), gets 14 letters including all 6 vowels
