Habs say no. Georgiev for Allen 1 for 1, lehkonen for a 1st and kravtsov. So the tradenwould be Allen and lehkonen for georgiev , 1st, and kravtsov

Montréal will just keep Allen and wait for Primeau, Dobes or Dichow to develop. Dobes and Dichow have greatly improve since they where drafted and Primeau have shown flash of greatness but with that terrible defence Montreal it’s hard for any goalie to put up some good number. Goaltending is not our biggest concern right now.

I like lehkonen but I don’t think we can get that much for him. I also think Georgiev is better (and much younger) than Allen.

After Price’s media conference the other day it should be at least a concern. I agree that Primeau has shown flashes. But has also shown he’s not ready and needs more AHL time. The other two are not close yet no matter how much they have improved. Primeau is the closest and he’s 2-3 years away if he still improves.

I see a trade like this great insurance

NYR consider this but not the Geo, Kravs, 1st package that’s being suggested. Keep halak and send a 5th in the off-season for rights to Geo. Make it a Lehkonen/Kravs based trade and no chance it’s a 1st.

Allen is sign for 2 more season just don’t see why they would trade for Goergiev. Allen can play the transition role and Primeau will have some playing time when the laval will resume their season. They have so many more position of need to fill that this is extremely unlikely.

Id do Georgiev, Kravtsov + 2nd for Lehkonen/Allen if NY is willing. If not id just do Kravtsov for Lehkonen straight up

Allen is only signed for one more year after this season. I am not as sold on Primeau being a #1 as most of the fan base. I think he’s 3-4 years away from being a solid backup.

We will have at least one high pick this year plus we have a few nice prospects in junior. I think we will be in major trouble if Price can’t play

I am not sold on Primeau either but Dobes will be in Montreal in less then 2 season. He have progress in such way that he is probably in front of Primeau in the organization depth chart. He got size, extremely quick, and have tremendous puck awareness. He is the major reason Ohio state are rank so high. He get 40 shot over on a regular base and have been simply oustanding. Goergiev have been ok but i really doubt he is the solution to Montreal goaltending problem. Especially if you had to trade away Lehkonen to acquire him. Georgiev have been mediocre on a very very good team this year and have been average the past couple year before, can’t see how he would become suddenly great in Montreal with their hot trash defense

Georgiev has worse stats than Allen on a MUCH better team, so what your saying isn't true that georgiev is worth more. There has been multiple insiders saying that the price for lehkonen starts with a 1st, so that's that
