I know I’ll be buying one. Do I go Pelech, Wahlstrom or Sorokin?

is it that way in Northern Sask and then in Southern Sask it is fLames/leafs?

Might be a bit but I think it’s just more oilers fans than flames fans all over the province (it’s hard to tell). Flames would probably be the 3rd most popular team.

Blake Comeau, Zdeno Chara, Kaapo Kakko

Who else?

Just curious, can KHL prospects come over to the AHL if they are on a KHL contract and go back next year to the KHL

From what I’ve seen online, yes. That will hopefully be the plan for Amirov. But I hope Amirov never goes back.

Blame the Rangers, not Kakko. He's getting better.

NYR is a very slow place for developing forward talent.

If he's lucky he may end up as a future Lehkonen at best.

That'd be quite disappointing, considering he's 2nd overall pick.

Think he was put in NHL way too early.

He did. With great success too.

He just wasn't ready for a top-6 role in NHL, yet. That development especially in a smaller rink was still very much in progress, far from complete, and it's even harder to adapt to a role you've never really needed to play in the past as a physical mid or bottom-6er. He would have needed time in Hartford to adjust to the smaller rink and to a top-6 role in NA.

I can imagine his time in NYR to have been more frustrating for himself than anyone else.

Luckily for him he's still very young. At 21 he still has lots of time to develop. But I think a trade would do wonders for the guy now.

It helps his case that Lafreniere is having the exact same difficulties in that same team, too.

Well Lehkonen is worth a top prospect + a 1st and has skyrocketed his value. Haven't you heard?

I don’t disagree but From what I’ve seen Laf looks better than Kakko

Laf probably has more potential than Kakko does yes, but both of them are getting shafted in NYR. Or at least that's what I think.

Giroux is literally using this All-Star Game to showcase himself for the deadline

A competitor is gonna pay big for his services

Flyers at least got something to look forward to rn
