Why would the rangers do this. It literally fits none of their needs and they are giving up way too much
RHF, Fergy22, Hamcity and 3 others liked this.

Rangers are already contenders. This trade actually makes them worse.

Let's take a 20 minute a game Dman for 2 injured pylons that are signed long term and a young 4th liner that was just extended for more than we pay any of our bottom 6 forwards. (plus a first and a second).

MTL will move a ton of pieces between now and next season, but unfortunately for MTL fans, the return on most will not be very good.

LOL, we're not at next season yet...........

We all know Chiarot was going to get a decent return.
Kulak was an ok return
Toffoli was also expected to get a good return, which he did, but was less than I think he was worth

Let's wait and see what happens during the offseason before you try to make me eat crow

LOL, not salty, just maintaining that I said before next season. Lots of time left. Lehkonen deal is looking very good at this point. The important pieces have been moved. The "dregs" remain. We'll see what they get in the retool, or if they're stuck with the same old same old.

But thanks, darling. I do appreciate you going back to this old one.
