Why are you the way you are?

Wow that's might be a bit over his head? If has this much trouble with NHL player value. There is no way he is going to be able to contemplate his own existence.

Every Leafs fan this site has put in an ACGM for far less. Now I know a good portion of the Leafs fans suffer from chicken little syndrome you panic with almost no provaction but I wouldn't trade Seider for Marner straight up.

You are right I was comparing the wrong guy but why would the Wings want a player almost every Toronto fan wants to get rid of as soon as his play slips?

In the minds of wings fans Seider has already won 5 straight Norris Trophies and Marner is only a 60 point winger.

Ik the last 2 seasons he put up 60 points but in a full 82 game season he is capable of putting up over 90 points which he did a couple of seasons ago.

Marner is an elite topline talent on the wing. That’s indisputable.

At the same time, organizationally, we have a lot of wingers. We don’t have a functional defense. Trading what is now and projects to continue to be our solid 1D, even for Marner, doesn’t make sense. It adds on a positional strength and subtracts from an area that is already week.

He's been on a 90+ point pace since Babs took him off the 4th line in his 2nd season.

I agree with that and I do apologize I have no idea why I switched Seider and Hronek. I'd apologize for being an asshole but then I'd have to apologize every other post and I'm just not that enlightened yet.

Silly to retain on him at all. If he absolutely can't be moved at his full cap hit for positive value, he stays until he can. Up to him to raise his value, waive his clauses, or agree to termination if he seriously wants to move.
