Yeah, but he really is what Winnipeg does need most.

Other than that. Given the field around him, Nemec could realistically go anywhere in the top ten imo. While a top 5 pick isn't going to happen. If the Jets season continues to go down the toilet for the rest of the year, it's more than possible he could be there for them if they wind up having a pick in the 6-10 range.

That said, I don't see him getting past Philly. Who's currently in the 6th overall slot right now.

If Dave Lowry maintains his 0.429 points percentage, Jets would end the season 9th from the bottom. A new voice hasn't improved the team.

TSN has Nemec as #9 on their draft rankings, but who knows where things end up.

If we continue to play the way we are then win a lottery pick, 100% we will take Nemec.

I do agree, he is exactly what we need. A true No. 1 right-shot defenseman who plays a well-rounded game. If the draft were to happen now, Winnipeg would have to make a trade to select him. I currently have Nemec at 6th in my custom draft rankings but we will see what happens.
