I get that Pavs is playing really well but I think his ceiling is a 1st, or a 2nd and mid tier prospect. Even then, I think that’s a touch high.

Of those two, I think Lambos would definitely be the first ask from Dallas, but if I'm Nill I'm at least asking about Calen Addison. Stars need RD help in their prospect pool more than LD help. Addison would fill that need nicely.

You are overvaluing a rental, and that age, besides that Minnesota wouldn't do this. He's not getting a 1st round pick and players of Carson lambos and Ryan o'Rourk type

You guys do realize a rental is never ever getting this much right? You know besides the fact he hasn't played C in years. He's 37 years old.

Hey I’ll take it, I had no idea on value, I’d be glad if the wild only had to give up a 1st or less.

Billy G isn’t giving up Addison for any player at this TDL, I’ll tell you that

I have a feeling the Stars will hold onto Pavelski. He's leading their team with points and they are in a playoff spot.

I definitely would not offer Lambos for Pavelski, though.

It’s hard to determine where guys actually play during the year, but I’d say Pavs is playing a decent amount of center just based off draws taken. My guess would be him and hintz switch off for whoever is on their strong side

You can argue about the value fore sure, but as a rental age as nothing to do with the decision. Only the actual production and contribution to your team for the rest of the season should matter.

1. Pavelski can pick 3 teams to be traded to. 2. Dallas might not want to deal him, even if Pavelski would wanna come here. SO, if those criteria can be met, GMBG can talk with them. I don't think either thing happens. Rumor has it Pavelski really likes it in Dallas.

Hasn't played center in years and yet he is somehow still 3rd in faceoffs taken for Dallas. He's taken slightly less in Dallas (~10.5 per game) compared to his last 4 years in San Jose (~11.5), but that's a pretty insignificant drop. It's also only taken about 1.5 less per game than Ryan Hartman this season so unless you're arguing that Hartman hasn't played center this year, you're pretty clearly wrong.

Just because player's take face-offs means they are playing the position. He's listed as a rw. His age and free agency also matters

Up until a few days ago, Boldy was listed as a center. It took them until just before Granlund was traded for them to label him a RW despite him exclusively playing there for about 2.5 years at that point. Suffice to say, I don't take labels on this website as gospel. Btw, not that it matters a lot, but Pavelski is also listed as a center, not just a right wing.

So what are you going off of for saying he hasn't played center in years if you don't trust faceoff numbers? For that matter, how do you determine that anyone actually played center? Maybe they just took a large percentage of the faceoffs for their team then played a different position? I could understand if it was a small number of faceoffs, but he's about 30 behind Seguin for 2nd on the team.

Take a closer look at Dallas' FO numbers. Benn is 1st and Seguin 2nd and they are linemates. Pavelski 3rd and Hintz 6th also linemates. FO's aren't a center only thing anymore. It's just putting the guy on the dot that gives you the best chance to win the draw.

There are plenty of lineup card websites and they are pretty accurate. The team's social media and website. They all have that line as J.Rob-Hintz-Pav.

Pav is better at FOs and with the choose your own dot being a RHS is an advantage too.
