Would love to trade him but the NTC would be a giant pain and would really hurt the locker room.

In a perfect world, Washington would trade him for a younger 1RD, but I have a feeling they won't do anything about it.

34 pts in 43 GP, whats the issue? Plenty of guys paid more that perform worse. I love the lineup the Caps have right now

He is a pylon. What happened. He just feel off. This might have been happening but I didn’t notice because I didn’t watch every game like I do now

Major liability when it comes to actually defending. Puts up points but has a lot of dumb plays, most recently the PP last night.

seems much worse this year. Don't know what it is, but something is off. Maybe the ASG break will help get him back to his previous form, cause right now he's reminding me of later career Mike Green.

If I'm honest I haven't caught many caps games this year but looking at underlying stats you wouldn't think there's an issue. He's +10 and has more takeaways than giveaways this year according to hockey reference, but I'll take you at your word. Wouldn't mind him in Ottawa but Melnyk has to shell out the cash. Better than spending money on bums like Del Zotto
