I feel like as Canucks it would be preferable to get Knies and a first, although I like Rodion and Topi. Just to get a player who plays JT Miller's position. That's a strong team. Not sure I'd want my team to move so much stuff for Severson, he has not been playing great this year. If he continues his poorer run of form you're looking at a Nick Foligno type deadline acquisition

Miller is great, but that's the price you would pay for a true franschie level player. Eichel didn't even get that much (referring to your proposed trade). The above trade is fair for Miller.

Eichel was hurt wanting expermental sports surgery and said he would never play for buffalo again, decreasing his value....
Healthy EIchel gets more then Krebs, Tuch 1st and 2nd.

Fair enough but Eichel was also younger and under contract longer than Miller. And he probably better as well (but it's hard to gauge just how good Eichel is because of injuries and, well, the fact he played in Buffalo).

Subban probably doesn't even get a second round pick, let alone a first and a good prospect...

Yeah, the Miller deal as proposed is fair imo.

Canucks get a good D prospect, wing prospect that may be able to step is as soon as next season, and a first. That's exactly what I would want for him.

Maybe a little could be thrown the Canucks way for taking Ritchie and retaining but that's semantics.

I had really hoped that Leafs fans wouldn't still be trading for severson when they saw how much better Holl was defensively over the 2 games. Once again my faith in common sense has betrayed me.

I know...I am just having a hard time coming up with ways to say, "thanks, but no thanks" to these Severson deals.

Subban could get anywhere from late 1st to 4th with $$ retained. Who knows really? I have would have never though Savard and Risto would get 1sts.

Eichel's value is so strange to gauge. He's also a $10 million contract. Miller has been way outperforming his $5.25 million or whatever it is. I also think people underrate just how good Krebs and Tuch are. Neither Topi nor Rodion have shown anything on North American ice, although I do like both. Krebs and Tuch are both studs and have shown it in the NHL/AHL.
