I like the 3rd line assuming Blais fully recovers.

Don’t care to have Nemeth back in Detroit.

What can Rag fans tell us about Pajuniemi?
Looks like he did fairly well in Liiga and first year in Hartford is coming along nicely. Projections?

Blais is a wild card, the minimum qualifying offer is a bit of a deterrent after an ACL injury.

As for the bridge deal, I mean, he hasnt really done anything to get anything more than a "prove it" deal like Kempe got from LA. But I get what youre saying. Although when the Rangers resigned Georgiev, they were, at the time, believing that he would be their #1 goalie until Shesty took over.

Id say probably middle six player, has a really good shot.

Interesting, would you rather do this deal over Copp for Lundkvist?

This is accurate. I wouldn't mind seeing him on the 3rd line in the second half of the season.

Lundkvist came into this season as a very highly regarded prospect. I think push come to shove eventually he will be traded because Schneider has cemented himself on the roster. However for Copp, its a pilled Id swallow but would be happy if we held onto him incase of a bigger move.

As you can see it's really not cap compliant. Rangers can get one of Strome or Copp but not both.

If they bring in a goalie on a minimum contract that helps add about 500k to our cap space. Its not an impossible situation.

Copp is a great player. Would be an outstanding middle-six centre. He can play in any situation too, would be a great pickup for the rangers. He's also super close with trouba so maybe he can help trouba get back to where he was in Winnipeg.

Lundkvist played like 30 games, Schneider got his shot and proved to be more NHL ready. Not for lack of talent or skill for Nils, also cant give him flack since Nemeth was his partner for most of it.

and Kravs state that is NHL soon or bye-bye...
]What type of return or you looking for a package including both?
Dvorak, Lehkonen, Chiarot: Nemeth, Nils, Kravs?

It really depends on what the Rangers plans are. Personally I dont want anything to do with MTL because they seem to want 1st rounders for everyone. Dvorak I think could be a good fallback option if Copp doesnt happen but considering what MTL gave up for him Im not interested in giving that same cost back to MTL. NYR really needs something for the top 6 because theyre horrible scoring 5v5 which neither of those players will help with.

That is a pay raise and Im only going by what a WPG beat writer estimated his value to be. Ultimately he goes to the highest bidder and Id like the Rangers to avoid bidding wars. So it is what it is, which is why I call it ‘ideal’.

Definitely will get out-bid for Copp if that’s what your offering him

My initial trade was straight up for Nils Lundkvist but someone linked me to a writers thoughts on his cost.

Not doubting Nils skills or potential but we have a left handed him already in Heinola. Barron would be decent, but I like the RHS Pajuniemi if he can become a 3rd liner.

If we get and resign Copp, I wonder what the future holds for Barron, Do we keep him and use him on the 4th line instead of Rooney or do we trade him…? Because of how unexpectedly well Othmann has been in juniors, plus Cuylle and Korszak, 3LW most definitely had suitors.

Lmao Detroit not taking Nemeth with two years remaining for basically a worthless pick. You'll have to actually give up a good asset if you want that to happen because Detroit knows how worthless Nemeth is
