The right side of the future is Doughty, Clarke, Faber. The Kings would consider moving Grans, Spence, or Durzi though.

okay if it were to be one of those guys though, what else could be added in from the kings side to even out the deal?

its funny in all these trades with Kings RD prospects everyone says Faber, Roy or Clarke wont be moved. They only have 2 spots at RD and that not including Durzi being good. I mean you gotta give to get.

Value-wise? Probably a 2nd round pick.

Honestly, I'm not sure the Kings are interested in Boeser. That $7.5M qualifying offer is pretty scary.

I do think Roy will be moved, just not this season. Next season at the deadline or perhaps at the 2023 draft, Roy will probably be made available to make room for Faber.

If you're going to think big, go all the way, but at least spell the kids name right.

Let's see whose the best of the group. Clarke and Faber aren't even pro yet and you guys are saying we HAVE TO MOVE THEM. We don't have to do anything until players prove they beat out an established NHLer.

Let's wait until Clarke and Faber are pro, until then moving them isn't an option.

yeah that makes sense. I would say there is some urgency in terms of the Pacific is wide open and they could solidify being #2 team for a few years at least. Kopitar also getting up there maybe try to make one last run with him.

I think it's the opposite, the Kings and Ducks are just a bit of early bloomers, both teams are set to have their real cup windows open in 2-3 years. This will just be extra playoff experience if they get in. I don;t see either as big spenders this deadline.

Vegas is in win-now mode and anything short of the cup is a loss to them.

The Oilers, Calgary, and Sharks have had their window open for a while, and know their core is getting older and looking elsewhere if their team isn't where they can get a cup. I fully expect the Sharks and Calgary to pay for upgrades at the deadline, and if either misses the playoffs someone will pay for it.
