Well, Seattle definitely passes. And just FYI, Wilde has zero value right now.

Palmieri has fallen as fast as turris did. I doubt any team will have interest regardless of the price

Was looking at Nashville only with their pending UFAs if Duchene leaves they’ll have money to spend and Palmieri may be worth a chance at 3M. Perhaps all he needs is his beard

Dunn with one year left and Seattle is not turning it around next year and making the playoffs so if they sell off contracts early it definitely wouldn’t be the worst offer they get

And as for Wilde it’s operating under hope that we wont be covid testing players forever and vaccination status wont matter some day. He has talent and his last full season saw 70 points in 62 games. Newkirk is another promising forward but most importantly if that pick falls between 6-10 its very valuable

Dunn is still a young player, guy. And an RFA. And that offer is not good. Bailey is quickly careening toward cap dump status and MDC has zero value (if that). Sure, picks are nice, but then they're waiting 2-3 years for anything out of it, if they're lucky.

Uhh the COVID testing won't change one iota for Wilde, as he is not vaccinated. And what team is going to wait for "some day"? Meanwhile, his big year you speak of was three years ago in Juniors. He's very much a total problem child that is speeding toward flaming wreckage bust territory. Like c'mon.

Our only UFA of consequence is Forsberg. Palmieri doesn’t come close to filling that hole if Forsberg walked.

If Palmieri had only one season left after this year, he might be worth taking the risk but he has three. He’s been on a 20 point per 82 game pace since joining the islanders. Just too much risk
