Avs do need help on the PK which is Motte's best skill, but they'll probably be aiming higher than Motte especially for a 3rd. Guys like Lehkonen/Jarnkrok/Copp/Namestnikov/Rakell for instance.

Hahaha Laf won’t be in the package. Neither will Schneider or Kakko.

Flyers can't afford to trade any 1sts with the state of the team. Boeser is only a slight upgrade over Konecny right now they have nearly identical ppg.

Motte and Compher were teammates at Michigan. Not that it matters much on the ice. But with the Avs focus on locker room fit, maybe he slides up their list of potential TDL targets to help on the PK.

That’s fine by us. Better for cheaper out there. But so you know, the package you have there sheds light on the knowledge level here

I never agreed with ops package but saying we won't get a blue chip prospect for a top 15 I points in the nhl #1 center making around 3.5 Mill here, it's laughable if you dont think Schinder wouldn't be coming back the other way

Laf, Kakko and now Schneider aren’t blue chip prospects. They are roster players that aren’t being moved. Lundkvist lost his spot to Schneider and is the blue chip available.

Schneider has 10 games in the show most people would still consider him a prospect, Lundkvist is way less appealing as he is another small offensive Dman, Rangers would have to add alot if the deal was centered around Lundkvist apposed to Schnider

The fact that you can point out that the difference between the 2 with 10 games under his belt speaks wonders. Lundkvist wasn’t bad by any means either. Van wants a RD prospect, find one outside NYR that is available and that the other team wants JT. Then we can compare if it’s a step up or down from Lundkvist and what the difference is. I’d personally like to just try him at LD over Nemeth but we also have Jones who I really like and think will be there next season.

Colorado has Justin Barron who is a year younger then Lundkvist while being alot bigger and playing a more complete game which Vancouver Needs out of a RHD to be Hughes's partner, Calen Addison out of Minnesota is similar to Lundkvist, while still on the side is Addison he is still a bit bigger than Lundkvist, while also producing at better PPG rate than Lundkvist this year in the nhl, if we go for a guy that's a roster player but still on the young side we can look at Damon Severson, Who is a big boy out of NJ, Van have lot's options if we decided to move Miller which i don't think we will as there really is no reason to do so , The price out of the Rangers starts with Schinder and if he isn't available we can look else were very easily

Excellent, that’s some good research. Hopefully VAN fans see that and start using those guys as the base of trades instead of NYR.

I like JT, don’t get me wrong.

But you guys should also move him now while his value is higher than it’s ever been and could only drop from here.

Hahahahah never once said “blocks number”. While the kids like yourself on here think JT is pulling a McD package.. not your fault.. you just haven’t been around long enough to understand. I, pushing 40, am an expert compared to you. After their first 101 games, Laf sits 4th in even strength goals, only Matthews, McDavid and Crosby have more as 1OA picks. Not Stamkos, Kane, MacKinnon, Tavares, Hughes, Hall… so the above package is just put to lunch with value. Not hard to figure this stuff out. But you’re young, time will help.
