Vancouver wont take a 5th for Schenn. He's on a pretty good contract and having a really solid year, plus his value wont drop between this deadline and next so there's no rush to move him. Unless someone wants to overpay with a at least a 3rd I don't think they consider moving him.

Why on earth would the Leafs get Gagner? He would have trouble cracking the Marlies roster.

He's on pace for 25-30 points in Detroit as a 4C, which is pretty good. Leafs need C depth.

I don't know if your watching this current season, or last season, but the leafs don't need center depth. They need LW depth and a top 4 defenseman. If Matthews or Tavares were to go down, Kerfoot can fill the 2nd line center role for the time being, and Kampf and Spezza can still man the 3rd and 4th center spot respectively.

Spezza is one of the best 4C's in the NHL. Leafs don't need Gagner. Engvall is better than Gagner as well. I think Leaf fans are making trades just for the sake of making trades at this point. LOL
