Only deal I would be interested in

Description
Ben Chiarot is gone. I don't care if we have interest in him. Dumb idea to trade a 1st for a Liability.

Hampus Lindholm you don't know if he's going to stay or leave so get the assets before he walks. Kostin would be valuable and the first and second should be as well.

Jakub Chychrun has regressed the past 3 years. I know "big name means big asset value". Wrong. Understand he has regressed the past 3 years hasn't been doing well. "Well he has a bad team" well no half of the stats are isolated and 2 he had a decent team past 2 years they even made playoffs before this. Can't pull those dumb excuses. Perunovich Neighbours I'd say are out of the Picture. Kostin would be a solid pick up for Arizona obviously the picks work well. Dickinson should be a good prospect coming up. Now it can come up with alternate ideas but imagine Core Pieces, Perunovich, and Neighbours are completely out of the picture.

It's not the regression value that you're trading for in Chychrun. You'd be trading for his ceiling as a top 2 defenseman at just 4.6M, on the chance that he rebounds given a new environment (which I personally think he could) he'd be worth like 2 1sts + (at least). He's not playing well and there's nobody to blame that on but him, he just needs a change of scenery to change his perspective and get him going again.

What ceiling? His ceiling has never been that of an elite Top 2 D-man. He has not ever played up to that rate nor probably ever will. Even a bounce wouldn't be Top 2. Only reason he ever played top 2 was because of the talent level of D under him vs over him. The risk involved looking back at certain defenseman like McDonagh, Karlsson, Shattenkirk, Seth Jones now, Tyson Barrie. Never lived up to the so called ceiling. Their ceiling was just that of what they were at the time. No particular defenseman has ever lived up to that type of ceiling after being in a slump and changing scenery it doesn't work like that. Do I think he will improve in this type of team, yes. Is it going to make that much of a difference on his stats and him being on our team it's not going to change drastically because he will be put in his true NHL talent role aka 2nd Pairing Defenseman role.

He played like that just last year. You are crazy to value Chychrun and Lindholm at basically the same value. Blues would be dumb to do the Lindholm trade here and the Chychrun trade is highway robbery

wrong. You understand his specific year to year deals are inconsistent not to mention certain players elevated Chychrun not the other way around. If we give up those assets for a guy who has to have someone elevating him to be good. Then we just gave up a Top 4 Pairing defenseman that's going to last longer than 3 years in St.Louis, and giving up a Forward who basically has Top 6 potential which we already gave that up in Bokk. So prospect pool is already depleted. You want to give up another first round pick which brings us in a defenseman who's been horrible this year average at best last year and elevated by other players the year before that.... Yeah sorry I'm good on that one chief.

he's 23, placed in 10th in Norris voting last year. Bokk is not a future top 6 forward. Only 10 points in the AHL this year. He might be a third liner in the future but that's about it. I am glad you are not a GM because your talent evaluations are terrible. I would easily give a 1st, Bolduc, and Perunovich for Chychrun. It is time to go try for another cup, not build up futures

he's had limited ice time. 10th in Norris isn't impressive especially in a shortened season and you play the same teams all year which up and down was not a good division. 5 of the 7 teams they played didn't have that great of an offense. Which tells me what? That he has good stats against bad teams.

honestly my evaluation is fine. You would pay that for name sake but not look at the details of him. If he gets traded here for that and he does terrible i'm coming right back here just for you. If you don't want to look at pure facts of even why he was considered "norris" why even bother to be on here. You bring no valid points.
