Like, only college players choose to let their rights expire and sign somewhere else, I get that they may not want to go to the team that drafted them but we've never seen CHL, European or others do that and some of them probably don't want to go to the team that drafted them

Absolute Star Defensive Dman. If i wanted to be really really optimistic id say he could become something like a Slavin. Probably not going to be Slavin realistically but he doesn't get beat, I don't think ive ever actually seen a forward beat him 1 on 1. He's a stud on the PK already out number 1 pk defender, plays big minutes, good leadership ability(captain on WJ Gold team). Only real lack right now is the fact that he isn't an amazing offensive threat, but as a rookie that could come. I think he's our #2LD next year..think Power probably is the #3LD unless Dahlin partners with Power. Sabres are stuck with a similar hedman, Sergachev, mcdonough problem IMO...

Real excited about this kid. Hoping for Parker Ford as well. And Jordan Harris if Montreal can’t convince him to sign. Regarding Ovchinnikov though, you Leafs fans should be excited for this kid. He was one of my draft gems a couple of years ago.
