Dahlin and Samuelson are gone. But power is still there that left side is no more.

Dahlin turned into Boeser and Filip Forsberg
Samuelsson turned into Greenway

I'm hitting on a lot of prospects I traded for...

Left side has Sam Girard/Power/Kulak/Bryson, so not dire.

Definitely no longer a Sabres left side, thats for sure

Tough look, never really paned out. Still only 22, wonder if they qualify him.

Notables picked after him:
Oettinger
Robertson
Hague

I hope it turns out to be a Puljujarvi situation, where he comes back better after a season abroad. For now, yikes at the players picked under him.

I love these rankings, out of all of the ones posted, pretty similar to what I have.

I am also in the camp of Jiricek over Nemec. IMO he will project better in the NHL. Don't get me wrong, both are great players and more than likely can't go wrong with either one.

8’s the highest you’ll see him ranked, he’s a consensus mid/late 1st, great offensive skill, defence a work in progress, couple of years away as he’s playing in the lowest Russian league

Interesting move to happen before the draft. Will be interested to see if they promote from within or go external.

I went to Game 2 of the Hamilton Bulldogs vs North Bay Battalion last Friday and here were my observations:

Mason McTavish was in a league of his own. He's an NHL player, it's clear to me. He'll challenge for Zegras' spot as 1C next season

Arber Xhekaj is a very solid defenceman. Moved the puck well, layed the body a few times, got some scoring chances. He'll get some AHL seasoning, but maybe a 3rd pairing guy for the Habs

Artem Grushnikov is a very good defensive defenceman. You don't notice him in the O zone, but he's everywhere in the D zone. He had some huge hits, and nothing got by him.

Logan Morrison and Avery Hayes, while both overagers, are very solid hockey players. I wouldn't be surprised if they played in the AHL next season.

Ty Nelson, to my dismay, didn't stick out to me. If I hadn't been watching for him, I wouldn't have noticed him.

Brandon Coe was terrific. Big and lanky, but he skates really well, is a fantastic playmaker, and got an abundance of scoring chances

Nathan Staios was a very good PP quarterback, another overager who I would expect to get a pro contract

I love McTavish, he looked great all season and he was a great pick at 3 but he won't be challenging Zegras next season.

Good that they got him signed, he is their best prospect right now. Great goal scorer with a wicked release.

Nice signing. Probably second best prospect under Rathbone but will be the best once Rathbone is in the NHL next year

If the isles end up drafting Brad Lambert (and he comes straight to NA) the isles should have one of the more exciting AHL teams.

Holmstrom-Raty-Lambert
Iskhakov -Koivula- Dufour

If true that is disgusting. Hopefully if they are found guilty they are properly punished.

A settlement was reached, so as far as the courts or legal proceedings go, this case is now closed.

Ok, we’ll hopefully they actually weren’t guilty in that case.

Well, we don’t know how many of the WJC players were involved, it says CHL players including some on the WJC team, not that all were on there. We’ll never know which ones but that’s not a good look
