Is Shane Wright the only NHL ready prospect in this draft?

Cooley is almost there as well.

I’d argue Wright, Cooley, Nemec are very much in the conversation for a roster spot with guys like Yurov, Slafkovsky who I could see making it but it’s less likely

She took the money so they are not guilty by law.

He was another guy I tried to keep tabs on, but he struck me as a very skilled player who excelled on the power play but struggled to create offense at 5v5

Some AHL seasoning will do him good

Honestly, I struggle to believe that Cooley will be an impact player in the NHL next season. Jack Hughes was the very first player to jump straight from the NTDP to the NHL, and we saw how that went (it turned out well in the end but he got some serious hate).

Cooley is for sure not nearly as dynamic as Hughes, and I think at least one season tearing it up with Minnesota will do him good

Don’t really love the way you worded this. I can’t blame a young girl (24) for not wanting her name to be published (which if it went to court I believe it would/if not I will stand corrected) but these events that were discussed sound terrible. I feel terrible for her.

I didn't say he should be in the NHL, I think he should go to the NCAA for at least a season. But he's as close to NHL-ready as it gets this year (aside from Wright and maybe Nemec).

As we either see MTL go with Wright or completely shock the world and draft Juraj Slafkovský

Either way both are very good. Its just up to Hughes and what he thinks is the better pick

I love Wolf. Back to back WHL goalie of the year, CHL goalie of the year the FIRST of those years (robbed of being only the 2nd goalie ever to win it back to back because it wasn’t awarded last year, probably because the OHL didn’t play or something), and then as an AHL rookie… goalie of the year again. I wonder if anyone has ever been the most recent champion of all 3 (like he technically is right now lol)

What he has been able to do is ridiculous. He just wins. Can’t wait to see what he does at the NHL level.
