That leafs deal is about as bad as many we see from Leafs fans.
We should not be trading away Severson at all. Nor McLeod.

Agree, despite what a lot of people think, I don’t think the Devils should trade Severson. He has always been a raw talent that had potential and needed to improve his defense. But this year I feel like he has really developed and improved his game. He has been better offensively while improving his defensive game

Even at 50% retention on P. K. Subban Tampa still can't afford him. Tampa has 0 cap space to make any trade needs to be salary in and salary out.
