Keith won't waive for Anywhere except Vancouver or Calgary, maybe Seattle. He wants to stay close to his kid.

But if you'd retain half of Allen and take Turris back instead of Keith they might be able to make it work. (They'd have to move Kassian to a 3rd team)

I don’t see Edmonton being interested just too costly.

One would have to think MTL is on his 10-team no trade list right

Jets are in no position to give up their 1st. Until their coaching, systems and the dressing room are addressed, Chevy better not make any moves unless it’s for a #1RHD with term.

How is it a good deal?
Remove Keith because of his clause.
Bring in gallagher suddenly can’t afford to resign JP
Allen would have to be placed on waivers to start next year because oilers have smith and skinner signed threw next year.
So the oilers are basically paying Bourgault and a first to replace jp with gallagher who is older more expensive and far more likely to start falling apart due to the hard miles he’s played.
Seems like a very easy pass to me.

Why would the oilers want Allen? He hasn’t been any better than the three options they currently have with kosk smith and skinner. He’s signed threw next year so is smith and skinner so one of the three is destined for waiver wire. Easy choice sorry Allen

VAN decline, they would much rather keep Myers than adding another boat anchor of a contract.

That's an awful deal for Winnipeg. No chance they move their 1st for Gallagher.

Oh I agree. Was just commenting on the cap situation in Edmonton and how Keith wouldn't waive
