Yzermanplan

Created by: AFox23
Team: 2022-23 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 10, 2022
Published: Feb. 10, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This team really needs a centre or two and a top-pair LD

First line is all offense and speed: Nino-Larkin-Raymond
Second line is tough to play against: Bertuzzi-Kadri-Anderson
Third line is two-way: Vrana-Horvat-Zadina

I just love the idea of a Bertuzzi-Kadri-Anderson line. It would immediately make this team a playoff team.

anderson's 27, big, and speedy. dont see why MTL would move him for that low of a package

In reality Detroit wouldn't give that up for Anderson lol

Yes, but if Yzerman signed Kadri, traded for Anderson and matched them with Bertuzzi....you wouldn't hate it, right?

I would hate that he gave up his plan to rush a rebuild. Still two years to go in my opinion.

But that line would be tough tu play against yes.

I'd take that Anderson trade in a millisecond but MTL wouldn't.

Absolutely no way I am trading for Horvat on an expiring UFA contract...makes no sense. Even with the extension I don't love it.

If it were a top 10 protected 2022, which rolled over to an unprotected 2023 - it's close. But if its later than 2023, then the canucks wont even listen

Agreed! Rasmussen is only a point behind Anderson and he has been used as a shut down center most of the season.

You realize when Evans was Ras' age, he wasn't even in the NHL? Ras is 3 years younger and has played more games, has more goals, more assists, more points. Habs fans on this site are delusional lol

No, you don’t watch games. I watch both teams, and Evans right now is way better (and way older). Maybe Rasmussen will be better probably, one is a 1st RD pick the other a 7th RD pick. But right now, Evans is better. More gAmEs mOrE gOaLs mOrE aSiSsTs, 6-6 for Evans 5-10 for Rasmussen but Evans in less games, with THE worse team AND one of the lowest scoring team in the league. But you had to bring stats because you don’t watch the games. Typically fan here

You have the cap space for it so I'm not gonna rip on you for it but I think Kadri will have a decently higher cap hit on his next contract
