Description
I was not expecting to win, but i feel that most of the games we play from the way the other team dictate the game. We need to be energetic.

Gourde is an elite fore checker play well, Maybe we can keep Haula with Pasta and Hall but gourde would be here for longer and making him good with hall would be great.
Johansson is depth for the playoff. The trade value is Gourde for Stud, a 1st and moore
Johansson for a 4th and seny

Dillon was traded for 2 2nds, wich are late. Debrusk is worth a bit more than a late 2nd so that's why i put a 3rd. Winnipeg can keep debrusk or trade him back for a 2nd and 4th.

Kukan for a 5th maybe 4th but i feel its a decent

Reilly trade help bruins moove lhd to make room for Dillon.

Steen and Vaak get waived so we don't loose the addition

At this point best case scenario is bruins slide for the rest of the season miss the playoffs and hopefully at least Sweeney is fired, if they were lucky Cassidy gone too. This team has no chance in the playoffs unless you sell every pick and prospect at the deadline and that’s because of bad drafting , bad trades and bad UFA signings which really shows in game like this, how Bergeron and Marchand literally carry this roster on their backs. If someone is gonna turn this team around it won’t be under the current management.

I agree the adds we did in the off season are depth pieces, without that good #2 center and that good Lhd we don't compete enough. Bruins are good to sign our players, but UFA is always bad. Ullmark was a good UFA, forbot was needed but not at this money, haula, foligno, reilly are not that good.

Sweeney does just enough every year to not get fired the bruins won’t ever win with him making moves. They need to go all out next 2 years and then go full rebuild, there’s almost nothing it’s the prospect pipeline.

First one out the door should be Neeley. I personally think Sweeney & Cassidy are perfect for the rebuild. They've gone through it once already and are now a lot more experienced with it so there shouldn't be any mess-ups this time around.

Also these additions don't really make this team any better, let alone Gourde isn't going anywhere unless it's a sever overpay

No from Winnipeg. DeBrusk isn't wanted or needed and worth next to nothing and a 2nd isn't enough to entice the Jets to move Dillon.

He plays a solid offensive game and is reliable in the d end but definitely needs a more defensive partner. It wasn’t that he did anything wrong it’s just no one expected zboril or vaakaninen to take the jumps they did they have played really well sucks both got injured but both will be back for playoffs and they can fill a bottom pair spot. Bruins are just trying to clear cap but not as a cap dump just because the young guys are proving they deserve play time

The team is in this position mostly because of Sweeney he is most certainly not perfect he’s actually terrible.

I actually disagree. Neeley is to blame for the 2015 fiasco. Sweeney just got hired that year and had little time to prepare for the draft. It's the presidents job in that situation to ensure there is a smooth transition and prepare/setup his GM for success. Not only that but let's be honest. what the f is he actually doing in management. I feel like he's only there to show face because he was a big name player for BOS. I'm fine with the decisions Sweeney made during the summer, he wanted to show Bergy & March they're going for it to keep them happy and potentially persuade Bergy to re-sign. There weren't any good names out there so he did the best he could with the cards he was dealt. In reality everyone knows this year should be year 1 of the rebuild. Hopefully Bergy retires after this season and the rebuild can begin, otherwise if he re-signs that means management will be tied up to keep going for it which in the longterm will hurt this teams success
