Initial Creation Date: Feb. 11, 2022

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Price might pull a Tukka Rask anyday now - His knee is a big question mark and I must say that I'm not feeling so confident in Primeau's hability to step up.

So lets try to pick up a young promising Goalie prospect.

NVM the title ... I thought Levi was with Florida, Buf is gonna hold on to him.
Trades
1.
MTL
    Levi, Devon ($0)
    BUF
What would be the ask for Levi? Buffalo is in the same weird situation as the habs - would they be willing to trade one of their young promising goalies?
      2.
      MTL
      1. Gourde, Yanni
      2. Grubauer, Philipp

If you think Price could retire any day now, why would Seattle trade their starter for him? And I don't see Buffalo moving Levi unless they get a very tempting offer.

See, I could see them moving Levi if UPL is everything they want him to be.

Montreal would have to overpay a lot to get Levi, it makes no sense for us to move him.

That could be the case but he was a big part of that reinhart trade I don't see why they would move him less than a year after that trade and he is also younger than UPL

I just don't see a realistic deal. Your 1st this season is not available, 1st next season may not be as good, since it is not known where Montreal will be next season. We don't need LD prospects or young LDs. You don't have good RDs prospects. I'm not even sure about Levi's value now, since he hasn't played at the AHL or NHL level yet, he's probably a lot more valuable to Buffalo than to other teams, goalies are often a lottery.

By 2 years, and he doesn't have the upside UPL does...

How exactly? Buffalo is still building after the rebuild. Montreal has not even started their rebuild yet. Levi is not available.

Let me start, I would not want to trade Levi, but 1st in 2024 + primeau + ylonen is really intriguing.
That would make the Reinhart return 2 first round picks, young GK and young RW, all holes that are in the Buffalo prospect pool.
      I would still pass.
