It's a pass from Dallas. That's too much to give up for that package, and Mrazek is way too expensive. Would make it impossible to re-sign all of our core players.

I had Campbell's price at 6 mil AAV. But the way he's playing lately you might get him at 4.5. I think Dallas is going to go with young Oettinger as their #1 goalie.

I don't know if you listened to the intermission last night but they said Canucks are probably going to hang onto Schenn. They certainly wouldn't move him for a late third round pick or any third round pick.

rolling eyes of course it’s enough. If he’s bought out in the off-season he costs 300k. I have trouble seeing that it costs any more than a 4th to move.

What's Ritchie's buyout cap charge in 23-24?

300K next year, and then 1.1M the year after.

Hope that resolves the trouble you were having. Second isn’t enough.

Ok I didn’t realize it was 1.1 the year after. But still, when was the last time a team had to more more than a second to dump a player? Marleau and that’s about it. If it costs anymore than a 3rd, the leafs will just buy him out.

Do that then. He’s not an NHL player and his cap 2.5M. His actual salary next year is $3.3M. That costs more than a 2nd to ditch.

You aren’t getting positive value for Mrazek. Wouldn’t even take him off your hands for Holl, def not giving good picks

The cap is going to stay flat according to the CBA the NHL's HRR has to hit $4B for 2 straight seasons and without fans last season they weren't even close last season.
