Ducks accept all of the deals. Caps, Avs and Canucks likely decline.

I’d say take out kostin or the second and make it a third
And I rather have our 2023 first traded and our second so that way we have a first or a second every year but that’s not a big deal to me

I’ve been sitting on these for a little while and seen fans of each say yes

Fan of bringing in Boeser and Hague at those if they were accepted?

I think St.Louis would rather hold onto Kostin. He's finally fitting in a bottom 6 role well and will be needed for a playoff run. Probably some decent prospects that would work instead. A 1st, Simon Robertsson and a 3rd would seem more fair.

I'd definitely like those deals. Don't think the Blues picks will be high enough for the Canucks to consider it. But one of Barron and Iorio might move the needle if they really like one of them.

More of what I was going for with the two of them coming and also though maybe fit in on the right side in Anaheim as well

You're asking too much from the Blues, and they do not have the cap for this deal anyway.

Closer, but still a bit too much. And again, they do not have the cap for it.

Blues don't have the cap to do that. We would need to find a team that takes scandella

Lindholm seems like the only guy who may be available that could be the missing link for this defense. With retention and possibly finding a new home for Scandella it would work. I've also read somewhere about our real cap space by the deadline being able to fit him? Idk how true that is or how it works.

By the deadline? Maybe, but we have less than 100K of space when everyone is healthy. And it depends on whether we'd have to pay to ditch Scandyman. If so, that adds to the cost. However, all that aside. Lindholm at the deadline should be worth about a 1st and a 3rd, maybe a 1st and a B- prospect tops. Robertsson has some real promise (and we aren't exactly swimming in prospects at the moment). And this year is a buyer's market, so teams can;t be asking for a king's ransom.

Army doesn’t like to do rentals as trade targets so I would say Lindholm is coming with an extension.

If that’s the case the Blues pay more and gladly accept

avs could be interested but they wouldnt move Barron for him. Manson just isnt good enough and wouldnt be in an spot on the avs roster to justify moving Barron for. Manson would the 4th/5th Dman especially if Byram is back

The most I can see the avs doing is a 2nd and maybe a mid level prospect

Probably not a good trade partner for the ducks if they are looking Beyond that

I was pro Manson. I had some 2nd Murray and other asset proposals, 2nd Kaut proposals. So a 2nd and Helleson for 50% retained isnt far off
In this case it was a no moving Barron. And its still correct. Manson is a 4/5 when avs are fully healthy. I think ive been pretty consistent about him

I am a big fan of Helleson but he isn’t at the same level as Barron m, and that’s evident by the trade.

Yeah I don't recall a prospect being included in trade proposals to another team as much as Helleson was included in proposals to Anaheim, whether it was for Rakell or Manson. That always seemed like a perfect fit for both teams.

I agree. It stings to give up Helleson but long-term the Avs needed to decide which one of Helleson and Barron to keep and Barron probably makes the most sense. Defensive Dmen are typically easier to find at the deadline and don't cost as much in free agency either (see Schenn $850k x 2 for example). Avs can also afford to do this given their depth on D.

What are your thoughts on potentially re-signing Manson? How high would you go in term/dollars?
