Detroit passes Poehling isn't worth no 2nd and 3rd round pick. And Johnny Gaudreau will want full term try more like 7 years $63,000,000 for Gaudreau.

Wild decline. Hoffman makes 4,5 million through our worst dead cap years. We'd have to move Fiala or Dumba in the summer if we acquired him. And I'd take Fiala or Dumba anyday over Hoffman.

And with the 3rd best offense in the league, there really isn't a need for Hoffman, anyway.

Honestly, as much as I like this - Detroit and Minnesota both decline. First off Poehling isn't worth a 2nd + 3rd, and Minnesota has a good enough offense that they wouldn't need Hoffman anyway. That's just what I think though

Any goalie can be fine for short stretches. Montembault is a serviceable backup, but not a reliable one. He's done well enough despite the issues in front of him, but he's still too prone to weak goals and big rebounds.

Respectful, Minnesota Declines! We don't need Mike Hoffman, and we aren't interested in taking on his contract

Monty will be fine for what, tanking for bedard. He isn't a starter not that he's had a lot of help this year. Detroit declines, we have a backup of mediocre centers

Wings decline, we need to improve our forward depth, and this doesn't do it. We have enough bottom line players in the system.
