I think Beaulieu has to be switched with Sergachev to make this happen

Still No. You dont move a 21 year old C with his talent for a collection of parts. The only logical trade value is 1 for 1 of equal value in a Dman. Seth Jones trade is what comes to mind. Avs would never move MacK for a "package of assets"

The only kinda 1 for 1 deal i can imagine between this teams is Duchene for Galchenyuk. In other ways I think Sakic if looking for a package, and that's why there's rumors about MacKinnon because of his value !

No there really isnt rumours about MacKinnon if you look at it. Hockey news only retweeted their story once on Jim Mathesons claims about MacKinnon (which have been completely shot down by Avs Beat writers as soon as they looked into it...with some saying I cant believe we have to waste our time debunking someones bored and make stuff up stories)

Thats why not one site...TSN, Sportsnet, etc has even mentioned Mathesons claim. McKenzie, Friedman, Dreger would be all over that stuff...but they wont even acknowledge it exists. Edmonton Journal is pretty bad when it comes to this sort of stuff, they always toss stuff out there. Matheson a few weeks ago talked about how the Avs could be like the Oilers and turn it around how they traded Hall for Larsson (which is crazy talk, they are in the playoffs bc of McDavid and not Larsson 4th in ice time all situations on that D Core).

Matheson followed up that he thinks Duchene wont get a Larsson trade so he has moved onto MacKinnon. The guy is a nut job, if you look at his writing (which I always come across living in Alberta) he is terrible at trade talk. In the Summer he wrote about how PK Subban isnt available so Oilers aren't trading for him. A week later he was traded. He had Nugent Hopkins traded for every right handed Dman in the league last summer. Hes the guy who was the source of Justin Faulk is on the trade block at the deadline.

He has probably some of the worst sources in the league...which I dont even thin he has any,
