If Whitecloud wasnt signed 2.75x6 then I think him and Sandin would be a pretty fair 1 for 1. It depends on what Sandins extension ends up looking like cause Whitecloud's deal makes him more valuable even with the age difference imo

I think Vegas would want Niemela more. Hes a RD, having a monster season in Liiga and could be a solid add to their blue line in 2 years.

But would Toronto risk it. No idea. As Niemala is looking like a defenseman who could be really dangerous in the NHL. A guy who can attack the net while also break up rush chances and defend despite his size.

Liligren is basically Coghlan so I dont think they would want him necessarily

VGK is competing now though so they're looking to be strong now, so going after futures doesn't make sense for them. Niemelä has already re-signed with Kärpät for next year so he's not getting in NA until 2023, so I don't see much interest from VGK point of view.

Liljegren would make sense more for them as he's in the NHL now, and that fits their timeline better.

Although keeping Whitecloud fits their timeline the best.
