Description

Predicting kosk will be put on waivers but won’t be expected to report to Bakersfield stay in Edmonton practice with the team stay available as an insurance policy on smith. Not ideal situation but for now I think it’s best bet come deadline can use the dead cap kosk would be carrying to offset cap coming in only if smith is both healthy and playing well.

Not sure how the NMC factors in but Mikko would have to give them permission to go on waivers. I guess if mgmt lays out his options maybe he just goes with it. Chiarelli truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

I think he waived the no movement because he’s not expected to report to Bakersfield and gets more time with family and doesn’t need to travel so it’s a well deserved break rather than anything.
