It isn't more depth.....two Dmen for two Dmen. Leafs may not be any better this year with those two players acquired. And to give a first and then to find two NHL Dmen this summer.

I picked up chara as well. so traded two D picked up 3. But I do get what your saying..I still think Manson is an obvious upgrade to holl...and lubushkin is a huge guy who can lay some serious hits. I think he's an upgrade on lili. Picked up Chara for just for experience and he's a scary guy. I think every leafs fan can agree that being scary and intimidating is something we need.

Taxi squad doesnt exist, and even if it did those players (minus Liljegren) would have to clear waivers to be put on it. And with the Leafs just picking up Brooks i believe that there is a certain amount of time before he can be put back on waivers
