Do those two UFAs/rentals from ANA really move the needle for BOS (#8 slot) in the East PLAYOFFS?

I think Hamp L is a fit, not so much RR (RW slots are kinda deep now for what he brings)...

I'm just asking?

The Leafs give up more for one middling Manson than the Bruins do for two superior players. Leafs aren't trading Liljegren. Dermot and a second might be OK if the Leafs have a fascination for a true RHD, but really that may too much

the cap is false freddy reilly and debrusk all on NHL squad
freddy= 1 mill
debrusk= 3.675
reilly= 3
that totals too 7.675
lindholm and rakell total too about 9 mill
but bruins have about 2 mill in cap space currently but have 8.2 mill in deadline cap space so cap isn't the problem

as a B's fan i say yes to the deal

Reilly has about the same or more value then dermott he has been very solid this season and all his advanced metrics prove it
freddy has took a solid jump in his offensive IQ and skill this season just isn't the strongest defensively
Vaak has been amazing this year and has arguably been one of the best B's dmen this season until he got hurt, his two way game is very good most importantly he is a very high IQ player
debrusk is still a solid player with 20+ goal potential given he receives top 6 minutes and PP time like he used to before we got hall
and we move a 1st im sorry but the B's trade has a lot more value

Vaak and lilly are at really the same place in the career lilly is better offensively but vaak is better defensively
reilly and dermott basically cancel themselves out
and so you are left with debrusk+1st+ freddy vs toronto's 2nd come on debrusk and freddy combined could get a 1st so basically 2 1sts vs a 2nd

i think you are being a little harsh or just simple overrating lilly and dermott to much

He’s a beast
The AFC is absolutely LOADED with great QBs,
so competition is gonna stay tough for us

Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, L.Jackson, & Herbert
Then imagine Watson to Miami & Rodgers to Denver
That makes those teams incredibly tough imo too
It’s even possible PIT goes after Russel Wilson
The amount of QB talent in the AFC is crazy

chiefs were the better team though. josh allen is a cheat code at qb. i think mahomes is still incredibly overrated. but the nfl cap is real, players want to get paid, will be interesting to see if bills/chiefs can stay relevant and compete for years like the pats did.
