Are you 100% sure they won't or did you recently become part of Kyle Dubas' internal team?

I simply share my opinion as a knowledgeable fan on here, I don't pretend to know unequivocally what the Hawks will or will not do...there's a difference, but apparently that doesn't apply to you since you work for Dubas smile

Hot take Niemela is worst of out the leafs big 4 prospects and will take the longest to reach the NHL

Ok ima personally let you in on this. Niemela is great but he also is going to take the longest out of every top prospect we have. Amirov is max 2 years away maybe we can see him next year, Knies is 1 yr away and Robertson is a lock to make the team next year. Niemela has the lowest floor out of all of these prospect and will take the longest. Even with his production he’s 3 years away and will top out as a 3-4 dman. He isn’t a top 2 dman imo

Is the deal fair for Hagel? Niemela, 2023 1st and Mikheyev for Hagel.

Look at the grabner trade in 2016. It’s happened before with worse contracts. Teams clear out multiple contracts (save $) to take on 1 contract

It’s multiple players like the grabner deal in 2016. A team takes on multiple no value players for one player. It’s a way to save dollars on internally.

I'm not sure what to say as fair is highly subjective. What we do know is the Hawks have had multiple teams (meaning more then 1) offer them a first and a prospect for Hagel and they've turned them down. So knowing that, the prospect is going to have to be a good one and fit the Hawks needs to better the offer or perhaps the Hawks want a good roster player..hard to say.

So Isles give up random depth guys from the AHL level to take on a guy the Maple Leafs are paying $2.5M to not play? what's in it for them?

Flyers reject. Braun is better than Dermott and you add Sandin who's an alright AHLer. Brauns value is about a second so that or a third would work
