Lots of pieces, but we aren't looking for quantity. We already have that. For Chychrun it's quality that's needed. To trade Chychrun for two wingers would be a stupid mistake, no offense to Denisenko and Tippett as players. They are good (especially Tippett), but not the centerpieces in a deal for someone like Chychrun. So far Bill Armstrong hasn't made bad decisions in trades and there's no reason to think he would start now. He sets his price and waits until he gets it; Kuemper being the best example.
A similar deal was proposed in the Athletic by fans in an article by Pronman in the series "Who says no", where executives said yes or no. In that it was Denisenko, Tippett, 1st and Vatrano for Chychrun. Exec 1 said it's good but Arizona isn't getting the solidified piece they want, but still think Florida declines because it hurts their depth. So it seems he thinks both teams say no. Exec 2 said Arizona says no as they would need Knight.
I'm not saying Florida is offering Knight, but for a deal to happen he has to be included. If they don't want to do that it is understandable. He is an excellent piece no team should want to give up, but in this league you have to give to get.
Value wise it's pretty fair, but still missing in total value and that high end piece, in my opinion.
