The Yotes would be insane not to accept that offer.

Yeah Knight isn't happening, he's the future in Florida.

Hardly, Doubt any other contender could beat that offer. And Knight isn't on the table.

Florida needs to include knight or it’s not happening. Arizona isn’t pressed to trade chychrun right now

And also Florida doesn’t NEED Chychrun but would love to add him. Will make their best offer and move on to Giordano if Arizona declines.

That offer is really weak, Tippet is the only real value here and he's not even that valuable. Couldn't you say the exact same thing for Chychrun as you said for Knight? "Chychrun is the future"

But Bill Armstrong is willing to move Jakob Chychrun for the right price, Where Rick Zito pretty much said that Spencer Knight isn't available.

He's mentioned it numerous times, Knight is the future in net for the Panthers, if he's moved it's for a major upgrade and sorry i don't consider Chychrun a major upgrade.

Denisenko has value and even though Horny is there for cap his leadership and work ethic would be a good thing for Arizona. I’d personally love to land Chychrun but only at the right cost.

Can you find a quote? If not your word here is meaningless. My guess is you have not watched a lot of Chychrun as you don't seem to consider him a difference maker even though he is a top 30 defenseman in the NHL

Really? Seems like a bunch of stuff for a premium asset on the Coyotes. Not that hard to turn down IMO.

Horny is still 100% a cap dump in this scenario. He is not a positive asset here

Denisenko's value has dropped off a lot from his draft year. He's in his D+4 year and producing pretty averagely in the AHL.

I've watched Chychrun tons of times, He should've been a Red Wing if Datsyuk hadn't screwed us over when he walked away from the team. I'm sorry but Chychrun is hardly any better then Hronek especially point wise and on defense isn't much better. So if Chychrun is top 30 in the league then so is Hronek.

I personally wouldn’t trade Horny until the off season, need him for the playoffs. As for Denisenko I think he’ll surprise many when he makes the roster full time. Not disagreeing that the trade is lackluster for Arizona but there is more value then just Tippett.

I think you are missing the point. Arizona is going to want at least 1 substantial piece in a Chychrun trade. There is none here. Tippett is the closest but he is not enough

Not missing anything, that’s why I said I wasn’t disagreeing with you about it being lackluster and one that they shouldn’t accept. The only thing I disagree on is when you say Tippett is the only thing of value.

Only thing of "real" value here. But even then he's not enough. Denisenko may be worth a 2nd still and there is a couple picks there. My point is Tippett is the only eye-catcher

Lots of pieces, but we aren't looking for quantity. We already have that. For Chychrun it's quality that's needed. To trade Chychrun for two wingers would be a stupid mistake, no offense to Denisenko and Tippett as players. They are good (especially Tippett), but not the centerpieces in a deal for someone like Chychrun. So far Bill Armstrong hasn't made bad decisions in trades and there's no reason to think he would start now. He sets his price and waits until he gets it; Kuemper being the best example.

A similar deal was proposed in the Athletic by fans in an article by Pronman in the series "Who says no", where executives said yes or no. In that it was Denisenko, Tippett, 1st and Vatrano for Chychrun. Exec 1 said it's good but Arizona isn't getting the solidified piece they want, but still think Florida declines because it hurts their depth. So it seems he thinks both teams say no. Exec 2 said Arizona says no as they would need Knight.

I'm not saying Florida is offering Knight, but for a deal to happen he has to be included. If they don't want to do that it is understandable. He is an excellent piece no team should want to give up, but in this league you have to give to get.

Value wise it's pretty fair, but still missing in total value and that high end piece, in my opinion.

I cannot see Florida trading Knight so I tried to make an offer excluding him. was pretty hard as i felt like 2 firsts would be unrealistic. i think even now i didn’t give enough but like i think it’s enough that i can see it happening irl in this market

I do not believe there is a realistic trade here without a top end prospect involved
