McDonagh isn't leaving Tampa, And besides JBB can't afford to eat 4 x $1,750,000 on McDonagh anyways.

Why not you still get 5 mil of cap its worth it and more draft picks for an execces player
also i find it hard to belive he wont leave unless he has a 32 no trade list which i doubt it ill have to look

Because he's been one of Tampa's more steadier Dmen, And what makes you think Washington can afford him? They're going to have cap issues of their own. And Tampa eating $7,000,000 over 4 years should get a better return then that.

It's full no trade until July 2025 then it becomes a 12 team

McDonagh has been Tampa’s best defenseman the last two playoffs and probably best skater last playoffs. He’s worth more than his cap hit and isn’t a cap dump. Trade Sergachev or Cirelli first.
