I mean with me adding a lot!
Kucherov would be a H**l no! and Stamkos would be an extreme overpayment.
No thanks then, I can't make an extreme overpayment for a player that only plays 15-20 games a year.

Dammit you're making me sort of regret the Panthers deal lol. I would've needed a Goalie in the deal tho who could play now and I'm not a huge Fleury fan but that's a solid offer.

I do really like JEEK tho, was able to shed significant salary space, and got pieces I could use in my efforts to land Klingberg tho. It would've been close, but mainly due to making space and preparation for other moves I really liked Florida deal. I knew Marco had Eriksson Ek very high on his future and really love his style of play so I think it worked well for all sides. Being perfectly honest, Gauthier in a Bob deal may have been too much. Bob is outstanding in reg season but his playoff record is troubling to say the least.

Hey Zach, Hows it going? Looking at your roster I don't see much we want. Maybe something like Rask + ? for Vatrano + Spooner? Have to find out what the + would be and I'd need to get my assistant in on this.

I'll get back to you within an hour or two hopefully, but this doesn't sound bad for starters.

Not sure I'll be on, but I think I like Rask + Gauthier for Spooner + Vatrano. You lose the best player, we lose the next 2 best then Gauthier sneaks in as a potential 3rd line RW. I'm not sure I want to trade Vatrano, just because he was so poised to score a huge amount of goals this season before he hurt his foot. He lost all the work he put in and flamed out totally for 15 games. He's got the speed and the shot to score 30 goals if he can keep up mentally with good players. So far he's a fit with Spooner and their basically on the same level. It'd be better if Spooner was right handed, but they mix ok.

Rask scores an average of 45 points on a very poor Carolina team, he could be a 50-55+ point producer on a good Bruins team, this is my counter offer.
