A package around someone else would be easier. The amount more you'd have to add for Matthews would make it very, very complex

I'm very interested in Matthews

Would you like Barrie as a starting point for Matthews or would you want Kuznetzov as a starting point?

I'd need them both

You said you wanted a young #1C (Kuznetzov) and a top defense prospect, and other things you would like are 1st round picks and high talent prospects
You didn't say a young #1C AND a young top pairing RHD

Kuznetsov and Barrie is an offer I would consider. That's what I was saying. Not that I'd need Kuznetsov, Barrie and more. If you'd like to make an official offer, I'll make note of it and consider it when/if the time comes
