Not saying the Hawks do the trade, but the Leafs shouldn't be spending assets to upgrade LW. Leafs have lots of LWers on the team on in the pipeline.

I agree to be honest - I don't think the Leafs should be making any big deadline deals in general. Just wanted to see what the team would look like if they did and what the value would be

Hawks have zero use for Dermott or Ritchie so both would be viewed as cap dumps by the Leafs thus this trade wouldn't happen

From a Toronto standpoint, hell yeah they do this no matter how much depth they have on the wing. From a CHI standpoint, HELL NO!!!! haha. Nothing of value coming back to CHI aside from that late 1st and maybe Robertson has a little value. Even without retention on De Haan Toronto would still have to add.

If we're taking back Ritchie's contract, while also giving up De Haan and Hagel, we're going to need Amirov or Niemela.
