idk why avs make that trade. you got byram coming up who needs a contract in a year or 2. the only player i can see colorado going after from mtl is lehkonen, kulak (depth), wideman (depth) and maybe maybe Allen

Avs are about to have a lot of forwards to sign. They really can't make that kind of commitment to another defenseman right now, trade value doesn't matter.

Yeah that MTL trade is just kinda funky, not a fan of Yandle obviously would much rather have Braun.

makes more sense than petry but it didnt make sense to get them both.

Yeah sorry i don't see Petry waiving to be over 2,000 miles from home. His wife and kids are in Michigan and he wants to be as close to them as humanly possible. he's not waiving to go that far west.

my understanding is that they are just there temporarily to be out of canada.

Who says that?, It's been their home for the past 12 years or so, Farmington Hills is their main home so not true. Anyways they're not going to Colorado.

Teams of thought about making a trade for Petry better do it soon. His current price is pennies on the dollar but the way he has been playing that price won't last too much longer
