These guys have varying likelihoods of being moved and/or of having enough value to get a number one back for, but this is a rough list of players who I think could possibly return a 1st rounder at this deadline.
Lmk your thoughts, if you think I have someone on here who shouldn't be, or if I left someone off who should.
Yeah obviously not all these guys will get one but this list is for players who have the possibility of getting one
The dynamic changes if guys like Miller, Pavelski, Debrincat, Hertl go off the board and teams are left with the lower end guys or nothing. Likewise, if some of the top guys get moved, the prices drop for the guys you listed. Right now we don't know which will happen so they're all possibilities IMO
Id take off Eberle, Crouse, Lehkonen, Getzlaf, Rakell, Fleury
Mayfield, Severson, Manson are maybes
Id take off Chiarot too but apparently hes going to fetch a 1st + somehow
Out of curiosity, for the maybes do you say that because you don't think they're good enough to return one, or because you don't think their teams will move them?

I meant in terms of being good enough, assuming they would be moved
On second thought Severson is good enough to fetch a 1st imo
Mayfield and Manson I think are right on the border imo. If a team gets desperate I could see them giving a 1st but I wouldnt be surprised if they returned a 2nd+
RD is a highly sought after position though, that gives all of them a bit of a bump in value

Yeah he's having a good year

Yep that's fair, they're both probably #4ish caliber and right shot defensive specialists, so teams will value them at a premium. I think the Ducks made a mistake not moving Manson last year when he had more value.
