It will be Travis Green. Florida has asked permission to speak with him. I am certain he is announced as the Canuck's new coach once Utica is out of the playoffs.
Hartley's already got a new job, as coach of the Latvian national team.
I see Travis Green making a lot of sense, especially if the Canucks are serious about this rebuild. Green knows how the players in Utica work; it could be a Mike Sullivan-esque situation, where all of the young players he brought up from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton were players he had coached during his stint there as HC, and he knew how to deploy and utilize them.

oh, i didn't know that. But he doesn't have a job with an actual team, does he?

Sure, Latvia isn't the best national team out there, but it probably takes up enough time that he can't simultaneously coach for another team.
