Description
Evaluate Horvat, Garland and Boeser. Trade one of them once we get there
Trades
1.
VAN
  1. Chytil, Filip
  2. Kravtsov, Vitali
  3. Lundkvist, Nils
  4. 2022 1st round pick (NYR)
  5. 2023 2nd round pick (NYR)
NYR
  1. Miller, J.T. ($2,625,000 retained)
2.
VAN
  1. 2023 1st round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
Ok Hear me out. Myers had been excellent this season as a shutdown RHD. 6 mil is definitely and overpayment, but 3.5 mil is actually low-key a bargain. Remember, Ristolainen got a top-15 pick in the summer, so a RHD needy team dealing a 1st for him isn't out of the question
BOS
  1. Myers, Tyler ($3,000,000 retained)
3.
VAN
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
Flames have a boner for our players so they probably accept

In all seriousness Pearson has played great since Boudreau came in. Could fetch a 2nd from a contender for sure
4.
VAN
  1. 2022 5th round pick (ANA)
Additional Details:
surely someone is willing to take chance on him for only a 5th
5.
VAN
  1. 2023 4th round pick (PIT)
LAK
  1. Hamonic, Travis ($1,200,000 retained)

If so many young pieces are being moved, I want a younger center back, not someone who’s pushing 30 in another year.

Retaining salary on a 1 year deal doesn't help NYR.

Okay, obviously you know Myers for a first is a stretch. The language of this post indicates that. I do think teams start looking at him for $3.5M and think that’s an okay deal. For a first? Get real. That’s when someone might offer up a 3rd and a low level prospect.

The bruins aren’t the right team here. Myers would be their third pair RD. No team is going to go out there and pay a first to get a 3.5M third pair d for a few years.

Yeah I get that’s what it’ll probably take for someone to get Miller from Vancouver but no one is going to offer it.

Just keep him until you’re ready to ask for a reduced return.

Like he mentioned above it took a 1st plus for ristolainen and Myers at 6 mil is better than ristolainen right now so if Van eats half his salary he’s easily worth a top 20 pick and a prospect

1. Punctuation is your friend.
2. No, he isn’t.
3. For the reasons listed above, he’s not worth a thing to boston, let alone a first round pick.

It's less the value of the player and more Boston's need. They have McAvoy and Carlo on the right side. Those 2 could play 50 minutes of the game if needed. RHD is absolutely not a need for the Bruins.
