Nils is supposed to be an offensive Dman and his stats in both the AHL and NHL have been a little light. They do scare me a bit

Maybe / maybe not. Depends what ppl value Lundkvist. He’s been okay this year but not as good as last year

I don't think it's good for Ottawa. Sens can easily get a Coleman type return for Connor Brown, especially at 50% retained, and I think they can get a 2nd for Paul.

Lundqvist is a very good prospect, but Ottawa has a solid defensive pipeline with Thomson and Bernard-Docker both on the cusp of NHL readiness, and they're shipping out one of two impactful NHL RWs they have to make it happen. Kravtsov I don't value very highly to be honest.

For the record I think they keep Paul, and as far as trading Downtown, there's an argument for it, but not unless you're trying to bring in a much better RW.

That would be one hell of a line, would be on par with that TB line of Goodrow, Gourde, Coleman. I just dont know what we would do with Chytil in that situation.

Depends on how you view Lassi and Bernard-Docker. If you think you have a strong 2nd pair guy and a strong 3rd pair guy it doesn't make any sense in my opinion to trade a valuable piece from the team's thinnest position (RW) to bring in a prospect at a position of internal depth (D).

Lassi Thomson looks at the very least like a 2nd pair guy. He has 16pts in 20 games this year and has been rock solid at both ends in the AHL and NHL.

JBD I need to see more of, he’s still a bit raw
