Caps can't afford Binnington and neither can the Rangers afford Faulk. Both are going to be up against the cap this coming summer.

Montreal is rumored to be asking for a 1st + top prospect for Chiarot (which is ridiculous but I guess you set the bar high and come down during negotiations. Let's hope Hughes knows what he is doing) we won't get that but we will get the value of a 1st, maybe a 1st + 3rd. This offer is not that, Montreal passes.

Caps major pass. Binnington is bad and costs way too much. VV has been better than him this season and he's younger and cheaper.
