I was saying learning to drive takes up a lot of time, and is extremely annoying. Once you’re settled in maybe it gets better, but I don’t enjoy driving and I’m really hating the process of building up to get a license I don’t want to use.

I don't want to sound intrusive, but how old are you? If you are in your late 10s, the time will come when you will enjoy driving and the freedom that comes with it. North American suburbs were designed for cars, so unless one lives in downtown of a big centre, it's pretty much essential to have a driving license.

It is a long process (from what I've heard it's even longer right now because of the pandemic), but one of the best decision I made was to start the process as soon as I was eligible.

Had a thought, and I'm fairly certain it goes nowhere, but is there a realistic scenario where Edmonton could trade for Hellebuyck this summer?

This is getting out of touch. They don't know which Russian players support the Putin regime and which don't. It's a pointless witch-hunt, they're expat professionals working to provide for their family after all. Have non-NA leagues suspended American players in the early 2000s when the US were messing in the Middle East?

I’m 18, soon to be 19. I started the process a year ago, because I’m sure there’s some situations where having a driver’s license will be useful. I’m trying to get it, but I find it really annoying to spend a bunch of my free time practicing driving while working full-time. (Especially since I’m always exhausted after work.) I’m going to University in the fall, which I won’t need a vehicle for, and other than summer jobs I’ll be there for at least the next 4 years.

Edit: Also I don’t like going places, so driving would be nothing more than necessity for me. I’m on edge every time I drive, and I always find the speed limit way too fast for my comfort.

If the Oilers are prepared to give up their entire prospect pipeline and draft picks. Getting Hellebuyck would be extremely difficult

As I expected. Not a ton of incentive for Winnipeg to do it unless they completely clean house. I can wait the two years to sign him in UFA lol

Yep, as basically Husso has outplayed Binnington, stole his job as the starter and is a UFA. Meanwhile Binnington is making 6mill but has not been great so far. Blues might explore a move to extend Husso. Could see them trade Binnington for less to sign Husso ASAP before the offseason officially starts. Things could change but yeah Binnington may be gone if he keeps this up lul.

Reminds me of when Binnington stole Allen's job

Regardless, the Blues are going to be wise to run both into the playoffs. That would be a summertime move at the earliest, which is probably fine.

Probably not, unless the Oilers trade every tradeable assist we have, like Holloway, Broberg, Lavoie, 2 1st, plus
