He's hopefully going to be alright come playoff time, but this certainly doesn't get him. I wouldn't move him unless it was for Miller or if contract talks break down between Hertl and San Jose.

Even then hes untouchable imo. His ceiling is a #1 D man, thats too much upside to give up for a 2 year rental in miller or a 1 year rental in Hertl (even if he extends I dont like it - #1 D from ages 19-27 > 1C from ages 28-35)

byram is looking like makar jr so i dont think the avs do this but the value isn't bad if the habs have 1oa.

no one knows how hes doing, injured players dont talk to the media. But all we know is that hes in constant communication with the team and his teammates and he just started skating again

Hes taking his time...hard to say if hes on the road to being back but its a good sign pointing in that direction he will be back eventually
