Kessel could be intriguing at that price.

NSH doesn't consider the MTL proposal. They're not a team that would be interested in Petry at any price.

Well, he's started playing like his old self immediately after MSL took over, I'm pretty happy with keeping him for now.

Petry and his family from all accounts want out of Canada. IF he wanted to stay, that might be possible.

I expect a trade to made eventually, but Hughes has made it pretty clear that they aren't going to just trade him for his sake. If they need time to remind people that Petry is in fact a quality top pair D-man, then so be it.

True but I can't see ownership allowing Ken Holland to make the same terrible trade again so soon
